Seven More Weeks!

Ok, so it is seven more weeks until I get to visit my husband in England. I am beyond excited for this, like majorly overjoyed at the thought of seeing him again. I feel like it's been ages since I last saw him in person (even though it's been eight months, so far.) There are loads of things that I cannot wait for, once I see him again. For example, I cannot wait to spend our first Christmas, and New Year's together. I cannot wait to finally meet his family, and friends in person. I cannot wait to walk around London with him, and to experience London for the first time. I cannot wait to kiss him, and to hug him again. I can go on all day about this, if I wanted to, but I guess that would be a bit boring after a while. Other than this little update, I have nothing else to say. I guess I will try to post about my time in England, and try to get pictures on here, or on my tumblr page. That is all!

Christmas in England! Woot!

Guess where I am spending my holiday season this year? That's right, in England with my hubby and his family. Man, I am so excited for this trip. I ordered the ticket last Thursday, and now all I have to do is buy a suitcase, and save some spending money up for the upcoming trip. Am I excited for this trip? Hell yeah, I am! I simply cannot wait 'til December 11th rolls around. I will be smiling throughout the whole plane ride, and then I will be smiling while I'm in England with V. Ever since I bought that plane ticket, I have been having dreams about him, and about spending time with him at his house over there. Sometimes, it is frustrating to have those kind of dreams, and other times, it gets me really excited about the upcoming journey. What new things will I experience over there? Where will we go in the city of London? I am happy that my parents are supportive in my decision to go to England. My dad is actually helping me prepare for that trip, by making sure that I...

Marriage is a funny thing sometimes...

So, on February 18, 2012 V and I finally got married. Yup, it is true that V is my husband now. I am glad that it is all over and done with and we can call each other husband and wife now. I am content about it. It was nice, during the time V was over here for a visit. I mean, we did all that we could together in the state of Connecticut... which isn't much, I am afraid, or at least in the town where we were staying. At least the hotel was across the street from where I worked. It sucks that I couldn't take the whole two weeks off, but at least I got to spend whatever time I had with him. The manager was nice enough to give me the two weekends off, so I could do pretty much whatever I wanted then. We had a grand time, hanging in the jacuzzi, the indoor swimming pool, and going out shopping for little snacks and drinks. It was like we were a normal couple for two weeks. We also went out to a few restaurants, and got to hang out with some of my friends in the hotel room. After ...

Boyfriend visiting next week!

So, I have big news for the readers that follow this blog... yes, I know I have been naughty, and been kind of neglecting this blog for some time, but lately my muse to write has gone down. I hope you will all forgive me? Anyway, the big news that I have for tonight (or rather, today) is that V will be coming down from the 10th of February to the 22nd of February. Am I excited? Yes. Am I nervous at all? A bit. The main reason why I am nervous is because my mother still does not know that he is coming down for those two weeks. If any of you have read my previous postings, you all know that mother... is not too fond of my boyfriend, and she is not too fond of the relationship, I guess. From time to time, she does ask me why I do not have a local boyfriend. It is indeed frustrating, but it is something I have to deal with. My current plan of action is to surprise her somewhat. Maybe bring him over the house for Valentine's Day? That would be a "fun" scene . I have to s...
